laura hoola hoop

I go to Sussex County Art Club studios to paint from life, and Laura Hoolahoop was our delightful model. I am pleased to have captured the stillness and grace of Laura, amongst the chaos of the hoops. Thank you Laura for sitting so still and maintaining a slight smile for all those hours. 

NB there is some damage to the canvas, due to it being dropped. There is a slight tear about 1.5cm which I have glued and is only visible from the back. This piece is reduced to reflect the imperfection.
